Integration of Travel Expenses of Special Program in Foreign Language Teachers Attending Local Training on Teaching Foreign Language in the Region/Division/School Budget

  1. In connection with the participation of the current and incoming Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) teachers to various professional development activities to upgrade Foreign Language (FL) pedagogical skills effective 2015 onwards, reimbursement/release of allowances which include transportation expenses and per diem, when applicable shall be charged/reimbursed to any of the following:
    1. Regional Human Resources and Training Development (HRTD) Funds in compliance withDepEd Order No. 66, s. 2010 on the utilization of HRTD Funds for 2015; 
    2. Schools Division INSET Funds;  
    3. Local Funds such as Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE); or 
    4. Special Education Fund (SEF), subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
  2. Activities covered are short or long term local professional development courses and language proficiency tests including Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), Dipl├┤me d’├ętudes En Langue

  1. The Department of Education (DepEd) has instituted a National Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) Program in pursuit of the National Indigenous Peoples Education Policy Framework based on DepEd Order No. 62, s. 2011 entitled Adopting the National Indigenous Peoples (IP) Education Policy Framework and Republic Act No. 10533 otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013.
  2. To support the plans and priorities on IPEd, this Department issues the enclosed Implementing Guidelines on the Allocation and Utilization of the Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) Program Support

  1. This Department issues the enclosed Guidelines on the Establishment and Implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) in the Department of Education (DepEd).
  2. It aims to provide comprehensive guidelines for the adoption of the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) in DepEd.

2015 Graduation Rites

  1. The 2015 Graduation Rites shall focus on the theme Saktong Buhay: Sa De-kalidad na Edukasyon Pinanday. This theme highlights the importance of quality education in forging a decent future for Filipino Youth.  It emphasizes  the commitment of the Department of Education (DepEd) to hone the 21st century skills among Filipino graduates in order for them to actualize their life goals and dreams not only for themselves but also for the less fortunate.
  2. The Graduation Rites should be scheduled either on March 26 or 27, 2015. For schools divisions or regions whose school year has been extended, all concerned shall be guided respectively by their revised school calendar.
  3. In line with the government’s austerity program, this Department reiterates the following policies:
